Barb Winters is a speaker, writer, and blogger. She’s a pastor’s wife and is highly involved in their church plant as Administrator, First Impressions Director, and Ladies Ministry Leader. Barb is in the final stretch of her 20+ years home school career.

Barb and her husband have four kiddos, one of whom is a recovering porn addict. When Barb discovered her then-fourteen-year-old son had been watching pornography in their home, under their noses, for years, she was devastated and felt alone. Because of their journey, she now helps parents of children struggling with porn process their grief and heal from their wounds while encouraging, supporting and offering hope at hopefulmom.net. She relates to other parents by sharing her story and relaying the information she learned through her years of research and experience as a certified Sexual Risk Avoidance Specialist. She is a real mom who has dealt with a real problem facing families today.

Barb has been published in several magazines and online venues and is a featured guest on podcasts and blogsites. She speaks at conferences, retreats and community events. Barb and her husband reside in Florida and are close to becoming empty-nesters, as their “baby” just turned 18. Barb loves writing, photography, playing games with her family, and exploring Florida, especially the beaches.
