Alisha Plummer
Alisha Plummer is an assistant professor at Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington. An emergency department physician assistant for over a decade, she is passionate about honoring God and loving others. Alisha is always on the prowl for creative ways to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ, and currently serves with a prison ministry and a team for international disaster-relief medicine.
Her first book, Confessions of a Christian Spinster, is about finding one’s place as a single in today’s church. Her second, Nehemiah: Building What Lasts, is a Bible study on Christian leadership. She has been published on numerous platforms, including The Upper Room, The Quiet Hour, CBN.org, The Bible Advocate, Crosswalk, and Propel Women, and has her own devotional blog, pandorasporch.com.
A native New Mexican, Alisha is actively learning to love the Pacific Northwest. She enjoys most outdoor activities, especially hiking, boldering, and caving, as long as she can snatch a few moments alone with God during them.
