Kristen teaches English online and served in youth ministry for several years. She is an inspirational speaker for graduations and women’s events, as well as a workshop presenter at writer’s conferences.
She writes suspenseful fiction from a faith perspective. Her latest project is a Christian romantic suspense novel with the working title Take My Hand. The story follows a trauma therapist who uncovers a fraud scheme that exposes underworld celebrities and her own insecurities. Kristen has also published several young adult novels, including a dystopian trilogy, The Rogues. The first book, The Revisionary, released in 2017 and received the Selah Award and the Grace Award for Speculative Fiction.
Putting her pen aside, she and her husband James enjoy traveling and outdoor adventures, including biking, hiking, and surfing. They live in Florida and love sharing their lake home with family and friends.
