She is working on decorating and design inspired-books that will help readers stop making comparisons, move away from insecurities, and embrace everyday blessings within the home.
La-Tan is married to her college sweetheart, Joe, and they have three adult children: daughter, DaNae, and sons, Kyle and Bryce. She loves being a mother-in-law to her son-in-law and daughter-in-law, as well as being grandmother to her granddaughter and grandson.

The heart of La-Tan’s speaking is for the purpose of equipping and forming powerful ministries—reaching beyond church walls into every culture—multiplying the love of Christ and the Gospel message. She loves helping people discover their own God-given abilities and enjoys inspiring others to seek God-appointed “platforms.” Drawing from her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother, she uses real-life experiences as her greatest sources for speaking and writing inspiration.
