Carol Hatcher
BIO
Carol Hatcher is a wife, mother, teacher, and writer. Carol taught elementary school for six years when she traded being called “Mrs. Hatcher” for “Mommy.” During her twenty years at home, she became a writer and speaker. An entertaining speaker, this southern belle shares everywhere from church circles and MOPS to community centers and prison. She has worked with New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in their prison ministry degree program in Buford, Georgia, where she spoke to the prisoners on a variety of topics. Carol has a growing speaking ministry and has been the keynote speaker for four women’s conferences internationally. Four years ago, God called her back into the classroom where you’ll find her daily speaking into the lives of 5th graders.
Carol co-authored Your First Year of Motherhood by Guideposts. She has also been published in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Devotional Stories for Mothers, Chicken Soup for the Soul: Devotionals for Wives, Chicken Soup for the Soul: Thanks to My Mom, Couch Rebels: Because Stories Like These Aren’t Told by Potatoes, A Little God Time for Couples, Teach with Love, 52 Devotions for Dog Moms, The Upper Room Devotional, P31 Woman magazine, Thriving Family Magazine and on Guideposts.org and CBN.com.
Carol and her husband, Alan, live in Commerce, Georgia with their three children where they look to see where God can use them each and every day.
