Lisa Appelo is an author and speaker inspiring women to cultivate faith in life’s storms. Ten years ago, Lisa became a sudden widow and single mom to 7. This unwanted, unexpected loss became a catalyst to discover God can reshape what’s been shattered. Lisa has published at many sites including Proverbs 31 Ministries, Risen Motherhood, and Christian Parenting and her debut book Life Can Be Good Again: Putting Your World Back Together After It All Falls Apart releases April, 2022.

As a former litigating attorney, Lisa is passionate about rich Bible teaching. She’s launched a local ministry for widows in her community of Jacksonville, Florida, serves young widows through the Facebook community Widow Mama Collective and founded a team of contributing writers at hopeingrief.com.
