Linda Widrick
Linda Widrick, dreamer at heart, is a pantser who works well under pressure and excels when she binge writes. The inspiration for her Christian fiction stories are fueled by strong, dark roast coffee and snippets of everyday life. Plot twists and turns are a signature trademark of her writing style.
Linda’s passion for writing was initially fueled while attending her first writer’s conference in 2008. The experience, awarded to her through a scholarship provided by the Cecil Murphey Scholarship Fund, was one she will never forget. Since then, she attends various writer’s conferences whenever possible and relishes honing her skills while networking with other industry professionals.
Traveling, treasure hunting, home restoration projects, and RV flipping are a few hobbies Linda enjoys. But connecting with family and friends over a foamy latte remains pinned at the top of her list. She also loves reconnecting with her Amish relatives (and yes, there are many) as often as she can.
She and her husband, Keith, are directors of Gospel Outreach, Inc., a mission board whose focus is primarily in Haiti. Strengthening the Haitian church and encouraging her loved ones there remain a priority for Linda, who has frequented the area numerous times since her first mission trip to the country as a teen.
Linda currently makes her home in southwest Florida where she works full time on dashboards, employee files, and other administrative projects by day, and writing projects by night.
Thus, the coffee.
