Charlotte and Gordy Guest
Having a passion for Christ, people, and the desire to encourage others during the encore years, Charlotte and Gordy Guest have written A Little More Room for Us – 100 Devotions for the Empty Nest Couple. Married for 36 years, both enjoy serving as certified marriage mentors to engaged couples. Charlotte enjoys hosting the international podcast ministry, Empty Nest Guests, and is the author of five YouVersion Bible plans including Living Fully in the Empty Nest, The Blessed Empty Nest and Amazing Grace and Loving Aging Adults. Gordy is an ordained wedding officiant and recently retired from owning and serving as the president of Cyntergy, a full-service architecture, engineering and construction services firm.
They live in Tulsa, Oklahoma near a peaceful pond and especially enjoy their patio time together. They treasure time visiting their parents, adult children and four grandchildren who call them “Sunny and Dude.” Both also love their church, small group, time with dear friends, reading, traveling, volunteering and golfing. Charlotte and Gordy also love a bucket of buttered popcorn at a great movie and feel both are better when shared with those you love.
