Somer Colbert
Somer Colbert is an author, speaker, podcast host, and advocate for children and families impacted by foster care and adoption. Drawing from both her professional experience in child welfare ministry and her personal journey as an adoptive mother, she equips families to navigate the realities of adoption, trauma, healing, and faith with hope and confidence.
Somer serves as Director of Development with the Arkansas Baptist Children & Family Ministries, Director of Adoption and Foster Ministry for Crosschurch and hosts Called to Love, a podcast that provides practical, biblical encouragement for adoptive and foster families. Through her writing and speaking, she is passionate about helping parents embrace God’s transforming work in their lives as they answer His call to love vulnerable children.
Somer lives in Arkansas with her husband, Corey, and their children.
