Rod Tucker
BIO
Rod Tucker is the Coordinator for Discipleship at Reformed Church in America (RCA). Prior to this, Rod was the Adult Discipleship Pastor at The River in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He and his co-writer Wil Crooks are working on a powerful narrative non-fiction of a former captive of Joseph Kony’s Lord’s Resistance Army and his fight to stay alive and get out as a believer in Christ. Rod believes this story has the power to transform lives and entire churches. He believes there is a greater need for social justice in the world and that Christians won’t necessarily be moved unless they know the stories they need to engage.
Rod is the author of Uncovered: The Truth about Honesty and Community (Kregel Publications, 2014) and Remembering a Forgotten Grace: Thoughts on Shame, Beauty, Romance, and Radiance (Hope Publishing House. 2008).Rod completed the Master of Divinity Program at Rockbridge Seminary and has a Master of Arts in Teaching from Greeneville University.
