Deb's head shotDrawing from over 35 years of experience in ministry teaching the Bible, counseling, and mentoring women, Debbie Wilson helpswomen discover God’s heart and experience Him in their daily lives. She and her husband Larry founded Lighthouse Ministries in 1991, a nonprofit Christian counseling and teaching ministry and live in Raleigh, NC. Debbie has been a Biblical counselor to women for twenty-five years and does a weekly teaching and encouragement blog at www.Romans1513.com.

She has been a weekly Bible study teacher for 35 years and an international speaker for women’s functions (churches, MOPS, para-church ministries) and marriage retreats. In the mid 90s, Debbie audited biblical counseling from Larry Crabb and Dan Allender at Grace Theological Seminary. She received a certificate in biblical studies from the International School of Theology (a part of Campus Crusade for Christ) San Bernardino, CA. And in the early 70s and 80s was on staff with Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ) in Boston, MA; Indianapolis, IN; Oklahoma City, OK; Orange County, CA; and Wynona Lake, IN. She also has a B.S. In Home Economics from Georgia Southern University.

For the past 9 years, Debbie and her husband Larry are part of The Harbor, a simple church that is a part of Lighthouse Ministries and led by her husband. They have been married for 35 years and have two grown children.
