Carroll, Amanda

amanda-mediumAmanda Carroll is a national radio host with the K-LOVE Radio Network.  She provides daily encouragement for 14 million listeners every week on 450 radio stations across America including New York City, Chicago, and Denver.  She has previously served as a radio host in Houston and Washington D.C.

Amanda writes a daily blog for www.klove.com covering relevant issues for Christians today.  She is a featured writer for The Life of A Single Mom Ministries, and has guest blogged for www.InspiredToAction.com.  She began her career as a journalist, writing for The Jackson Hole Guide newspaper, and reporting for WMBD CBS-31 News; Peoria, IL.

She also enjoys speaking to women’s groups every year.  From local MOPS groups, to single mom’s ministries, to church Christmas galas, Amanda is frequently requested as a keynote speaker.

Where faith meets life is the secret to Amanda’s successful ratings.  Her listeners often comment that she is unique because she is “real” and “open” about her family struggles. Her family photo might not look like the typical Christian family.  She encourages others that the picture perfect family is attainable, it’s just the contents of everyone’s picture is different.

Amanda is a “Single Mom” although she’s not a big fan of that title.  She prefers, “Professional Mom.”She has three children: Emily (7), Andy (4), and Zoe Grace (3).  Although her family photo is not exactly the way she thought it would be, it’s the way it is, and she is determined not only to make the best of it, but to thrive.
